This writer is a blonde. And of course, BEING a blonde, I belong to an exclusive island of FELLOW blondes, all of whom are likely familiar with the one thing that often sets our teeth on edge.

The blonde jokes. Ah, yes. the jokes linking blonde hair with stupidity go back decades. Of course, it isn’t true. I do not consider myself stupid, and no doubt other millions of blondes do not consider THEMSELVES stupid.

However, while I abhor blonde jokes, if one happens to be a blonde and has engaged in questionable activity, then—well—all bets are off. That person DESERVES scrutiny.

This writer intends to exercise said scrutiny because one blonde, one sunny, sugary cupcake of a blonde with MAGA sprinkles, has just been nominated to be our Attorney General.

Meet Pam Bondi — a blonde, a nominee, and an election denier.

Bondi is a favorite of Fox non-news which is not surprising. Trump nominated her quickly. He likely had her in mind all along as the fallback nominee.

While many in the media falsely breathe false sighs of relief, Bondi has issues, and they’re likely to pop up during her confirmation hearings.

“All of these prosecutors hate Donald Trump,” Bondi once said in predictable MAGA ways, fake MAGA indignation permeate her fake taking points.

“They have a personal vendetta against him!’

Ah, yes, it’s good to see Bondi take the law so seriously!

“We’ve won Pennsylvania,” the AG nominee once declared after the 2020 election in which President Joe Biden won Pennsylvania. Do you want to know something? I do not believe her confirmation will go as smoothly as some are predicting. Oh, she may get confirmed, but it’ll be a lot harder for her than some think.

In addition to her election-denying statements, which she will be thoroughly questioned about, there is Bondi’s scandal of the investigation into Trump University. A donation of $25,000 from Trump-world, was made to Bondi’s election committee before she opted out of pursuing allegations of fraud regarding Trump University. Hmm…

Bondi is all in on Trumpism and has previously represented his royal insurrectionist. Of course, she’s a step up from Gaetz. But it’s important to understand that a skunk’s behind would be a step up from Gaetz, so that doesn’t really say much about Bondi.

Making things even more interesting, during her confirmation hearing, some Democrat, (likely more than one) will ask her who the current President is and if he won fair and square. What will she say?

In the coming weeks, every single thing Bondi has ever done, every Pro Trump speech, every morsel of election denialism will come out. Will she get confirmed? Perhaps. But it most certainly won’t be the cakewalk she likely thinks it will be.
