Donald Trump goes berserk, attacks Sean Hannity

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Over the past few weeks in general, and the past few days in particular, we’ve seen Donald Trump reach a whole new level of recklessly berserk and bizarrely mentally incompetent behavior. He’s all but calling for the arrest of someone who wrote an anonymous op-ed, even as he rips his own administration apart looking for the author. He’s slurring his words. He’s repeatedly failed to pronounce “anonymous.” Now Trump is doing something even weirder: attacking his pal Sean Hannity.

Is there anyone who’s been more loyal to Donald Trump than Sean Hannity has? We’ve all watched Hannity turn his Fox News show into a complete farce in the name of trying to protect Trump from his worsening criminal scandals. But even Hannity has to maintain the thinnest veneer of honesty, so he occasionally books guests on his show who try to tell the ugly truth about Trump, just so he can beat up on them. Apparently even that has sent Trump over the edge.

While Trump was giving his rally speech last night, which saw him sounding like he was high on a downer drug, he said this about Sean Hannity: “I love him. But here’s the only thing. He puts up all these losers that say horrible things. I’ve got to talk to him. One after another.” If you’re Hannity, you’ve completely sold yourself out for the sake of being loyal to Trump, and now he’s publicly attacking you for it.

Worse, Donald Trump is openly admitting that he’s going to call up the host of a major cable news program and instruct him to stop booking anti-Trump guests, and he expects it to work. It’s one thing for Trump to be that corrupt, which we all know he is. It’s another thing for him to be so far gone that he’s now saying it out loud, even as he rambles about “anamanous” sources and struggles to make his mouth work properly.
