Lindsey Graham has completely insane meltdown about Donald Trump commuting Roger Stone’s sentence
When Roger Stone hinted to NBC News this evening that he wanted Donald Trump to commute his prison sentence or else he’d leak criminal dirt on Trump, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham made a point of very publicly giving Trump the green light.
Graham tweeted this: “In my view it would be justified if President Donald Trump decided to commute Roger Stone’s prison sentence. Mr. Stone is in his 70s and this was a non-violent, first-time offense.” Shortly after Graham posted this tweet, Trump went ahead and commuted Stone’s sentence.
Lindsey Graham’s entire life has become one big ball of stupid ever since John McCain passed away, but this tweet is stupid even for Lindsey. Roger Stone was convicted on sevenfelonies, including threatneing to murder a witness and kidnap his dog. Stone also threatened to murder the judge in his case. He isn’t some good guy who unwittingly got mixed up in crime.
Also, Roger Stone is 67 years old, not “in his 70s.” Lindsey Graham couldn’t even bother to be honest about that part. This guy is a total joke.
