Donald Trump keeps publicly offering well wishes to Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, a sign that she has dirt on Trump, and that Trump is afraid she’ll spill the beans in the hope of getting a more lenient prison sentence. Now Trump has another Epstein problem.

The Miami Herald is the newspaper that originally dug up the long-buried Jeffrey Epstein criminal case, resulting in the arrests of Epstein and Maxwell. Now the Herald is at it again. Donald Trump keeps claiming that Epstein was never a member of Mar-a-Lago. But now the Miami Herald is confirming that Epstein was a member, and that Trump reluctantly had to kick him out after Epstein wouldn’t stop harassing another member’s teenage daughter.

This is par for the disgusting course for Jeffrey Epstein. What stands out here is that Donald Trump feels compelled to lie about the fact that Epstein was a member to begin with. Trump could arguably score points in the court of public opinion by simply confirming that he kicked Epstein out for harassing underage women, if that were the entire story.

Instead, Donald Trump seems intent on preventing anyone from knowing that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mar-a-Lago member to begin with – suggesting there’s a whole lot more to the story. We have a feeling the Miami Herald will end up digging that part up as well. Notably, court records unsealed this past weekend confirm that at least one of Epstein’s underage victims was recruited by Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago.
