Jack Smith comes out swinging

Hickory, Dickory, dock. The Judge tried to outrun the clock. Then she ran into Jack Smith. Do you know something, friends, and readers? It is becoming almost enjoyable to see Judge Cannon humiliated over and over and over again.

As you know, Cannon, and her unending incompetence, has been in the news almost every day. I’m sure the hapless Judge is not thrilled with the coverage. But she has nowhere to run. I think the ‘Judge” bit off more than she could chew and it’s showing.

Jack Smith has filed a new motion in the latest news regarding the incompetent Cannon, and to quote Glen Kirschner, “he doesn’t mince words.” Those words are — those words are — the convicted felon is putting numerous lives in danger.

Smith made the filing on Friday. In it, he tells Cannon he has new evidence to support his case for a gag order for Trump.

Explaining that the danger posed to law enforcement is “imminent,” Smith’s filing goes on to say: “Statements that present a significant, imminent and foreseeable danger to the law enforcement agents working on this case pose a significant and imminent threat to the integrity of these criminal proceedings.”

Smith also cites an incident that happened at the beginning of June where a Texas man made threats to an FBI agent.

“Just last week,” the filing says, “A supporter of Trump called an FBI agent associated with the Hunter Biden case and claimed that, if Trump wins reelection, FBI agents will be thrown in jail. and if he does not win, the agents will be hunted down and slaughtered in their own homes.”

This is about as serious as can be. I do hope Cannon grants the gag order. I doubt she will. I say this because Judge Cannon has shown with her actions that the only thing that concerns her is protecting Trump — and, uh, yes, scheduling motions to hear in that never-ending calendar of hers.

However, she’s met her match in Smith. I’ve said from the beginning that Smith knows what he’s doing. He is laying a slow, imperceptible trap for the scheming Judge, and it’s one she has virtually no way of ever getting out of.
