Infinite downward spiral

I hardly see them anymore. They’re out in outer space, flailing, trying to get back to planet Earth. Only they can’t. They do leaps and back-bends, trying to get us to see them, but they appear far away, out of sight, spinning into nothingness.

The Trump campaign, just a few weeks ago, riding ever-so-very-high on their hubris, has now become a mere speck — a speck on this vast earth, out of vision, out of focus, spinning between political solar systems, desperate to get back into the vision of the voters here on planet earth.

They’re trying everything. They’re angry astronauts who have been launched into crazy skies, far, far away from the vision of the audience they so desperately seek. They’ve mocked her. They’ve derided her. They’ve screamed that she is not suitable for the country, not good for anyone.

But all they get in return is space, oceans upon oceans of emptiness.

The only thing about their campaign that has been reported these days is either Project 2025 or the utter disaster of the JD Vance pick.

Think about it. When was the last time you heard ONE POSITIVE THING ABOUT THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN?

All the energy has been sucked up. All the momentum has been blunted, leaving them falling through solar systems, desperate for the attention and recognition they thought they had locked up.

But the political winds are as mystical as outer space and can never be taken for granted.

That’s what the GOP, in all their hubris, DID, took it all for granted. They picked a loser for the VP nominee. They never made a backup plan, never did anything, except, with unchecked arrogance, ASSUME they would win, ASSUME the cosmos would line up for them, ASSUME, assume ass-ume.

Yet all that hubris has gone out into the void, leaving only darkness and infinity surrounding them — the infinity of losing.
