Donald Trump can’t even get this one right
Donald Trump lies about everything, and we know that. He allegedly cheats at golf, and that is documented in a book about the subject. Now, he is turning to lying about how often he golfs and how unfairly he is being treated. On Sunday, he tweeted:
I know many in business and politics that work out endlessly, in some cases to a point of exhaustion. It is their number one passion in life, but nobody complains. My “exercise” is playing, almost never during the week, a quick round of golf. Obama played more and much longer rounds, no problem. When I play, Fake News CNN, and others, park themselves anywhere they can to get a picture, then scream “President Trump is playing golf.” Actually, I play VERY fast, get a lot of work done on the golf course, and also get a “tiny” bit of exercise. Not bad!
Fore! Lies in the rough ahead, as this is not true on many levels. First, the main person concerned about how much golf that President Obama played was Trump. Second, at this point in his presidency, Obama had played golf 90 times or so, and Trump has played at least 2.6 times as much golf Obama as had.
One piece of work Trump might do on the golf course is distribute kompromat. See, e.g., Lindsey Graham and the miraculous transformation after golfing. And the other truth Trump speaks in his tweet, is that he gets a “tiny” amount of exercise. Like most things, Trump is a tiny man when it comes to getting any exercise.
