As I gaze toward the horizon, I see clouds in the distance. These clouds form vague shapes, gloomy forms if you will. These are the forms of dismal nominees—Trump nominees – —hovering miserably, unsure whether they will welcome glorious rays of sunshine or sink into nothingness.

It seems that many of Donald Trump’s nominees are simultaneously imploding. This raises the question of for whom the bell tolls. Does it toll for: All of them? Let’s do a little recap here.

We have Tulsi, whose ties to Russia are being questioned very — well — it seems by almost everyone. Russia is openly celebrating her nomination, Senators do not trust her, and many are saying she is going to have a tough time on the road to confirmation.

RFK Junior. “Not qualified” are the words I see making the rounds. The only reason THIS nomination has not received the attention it deserves is because of:

Pete Hegseth. Hegseth loudly rebuked the press the other day, declaring he does not answer to them. He does, however, claim to answer to God. Perhaps he can ask God for some help on how to treat women with a bit more respect.

Kash Patel. Patel’s scandals are starting to come out, promising, at the very least, oodles and oodles of questions to be asked of him in his confirmation hearings; assuming he even makes it that far.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Donald Trump (who is still MIA except for a social media post he may or may not have written, declaring his loyalty to Hegseth) is reportedly considering candidates to replace Hegseth including Governor Ron DeSantis, once Trump’s arch enemy and affectionately dubbed “pudding fingers” by many who despise him.

I do not believe I’ve ever seen a group of nominees have this much trouble and this many issues in politics.

Right now, all these abominations represent dismal clouds on the distant horizon, clouds filled with cumulus that may never get to see the sunlight of confirmation.

It is Donald Trump’s fault. He had many options. However, he screwed the pooch on the selection process, preferring to choose grotesque picks, most of whom are not qualified to run a hot dog stand let alone big government agencies.
